Hi All!
Week one is down, 12 weeks to go! This week was my first week of preparing for the show. My diet and training routine were in full force. I can't emphasize how important preparation is when you are training twice a day, at work eight hours a day and eating every 2.5-3hours. Nothing too exciting and no drastic changes, but I can definitely tell that my body is responding to not having any sugar. I have a nasty sweet tooth and usually allow myself a treat on the weekends.....but not this weekend. I had my protein shake and rice thins in tow for a night at the movies with my sisters!
Along with the diet and exercise, suit and shoe choice play a major role in how you place. Stage presence and posing is another major component that I need to practice, practice, practice!
Week 2 here we go!
