Hey folks!
So, the last three weeks have breezed by and I am again 1 week out from my Competition...only this time it is the SABBA Provincials in Lloydminster!
After the SABBA Novice Classic I gave myself a day to splurge and was back at it first thing Monday morning. This past three weeks, although I am hesitant to say, have seemed like a breeze! I think the main thing is that the training and diet have become routine. Although competition prep is pretty extreme, the more routine you make the training and diet, the less extreme you really have to be. This past three weeks have been focused on maintaining my physique. There has been little change in my diet and my workouts are geared towards the areas that need improving for the upcoming show. The areas that I have had to work on are my abs and butt, both which I need to pop!
Thus, just when the last of my protan is coming off, I have to start reapplying it on Thursday! This time I will be wearing socks and gloves...if you saw my hands and feet the week after the Novice, you will understand why I say this! :)
This time there are only 6 competitors in my division (so I am told at this point). I am trying really hard not to get my hopes up for a specific placing. I started this journey to fulfill something I have dreamed of doing for a very long time and I can already say that I have fulfilled that dream! The experience has been one that is so rewarding and stepping on stage knowing I've done everything I can is an accomplishment unlike anything I have ever experienced. I did not know I had this in me and hearing that I have been an inspiration to others is incredible! Everything is gravy from here on out!
I had a photoshoot in between the pre-judging morning show and the evening show on the day of the Novice Classic. I had so much fun and am so happy I got to capture that day!
Until next week...wish me luck!!!!
See you at the gym!
Holly
