Wow! I cannot believe how fast these weeks are going! The competition is 5 weeks away and, therefore, my wedding is 3 weeks away!! So excited, but as it gets closer it gets more and more real that I will be married, another year older (my birthday will be celebrated in Vegas!) and competing in my first competition in 5 weeks!
The training is going great! I am lifting heavier and seeing results! My favorite workouts are my arms and shoulders. Before this competition prep, I didn't train shoulders at all, so I am definitely seeing results. I have been increased to two 45 minute cardio sessions a day along with my strength training. The cardio sessions involve 45 minutes walking on an incline in the am and pm. It can get kind of boring...thank-god for the tvs on the treadmills!
My diet is on track. I eat the same things pretty consistantly. I am a creature of habit and this way i can prepare everything in advance and just grab and go. I never leave the house without at least 2 of my meals. This way, if I get held up somewhere or if hunger ever strikes, i'm not tempted to grab something off my plan. I also do not go anywhere without my water bottle!
As I had said in my first blog, preparation is everything! I find it best when everything is cooked/cut, weighed and individually packaged, so...
...this is what our fridge looks like! :)
